Lesley Hughes is a climate scientist and describes herself as an explorer. She has spent all of her life in search of the answers to how do humans, plants and animals thrive in our environment together.

There wouldn’t be many people across the globe that know more about climate change science than Lesley. For the last 25 years she had dedicated her life to finding the answers to how do we create a sustainable environment on our planet.

Many years ago Lesley decided she wanted to do something with all of her knowledge: she wanted to make an impact. And that she has. She was a Commissioner on the Australian Government’s Climate Commission and today is a Councillor at the Climate Council.

Delve into this episode to hear Lesley’s inspiring story where she shares her hope and optimism in the face of climate change, along with some advice on the little bits of good that we can all do to help overwhelm climate change.
